At age 30, Abbygale Gencarelli’s life has quickly changed due to a recent, unexpected diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Abbygale, her husband Andrew, and their two year old twins are local residents. The disease has forced Abby to be hospitalized for several weeks at a time and unable to fully care for her son and daughter.

Abbygale is currently receiving extensive chemotherapy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is awaiting her bone marrow transplant (stem cell transplant), which is scheduled for Friday, December 18th. She will need many, many prayers with intentions that the transplant will be a success and she will conquer the cancer.

This Weekend. Family and Friends will be selling #PrayForAbbygale wristbands after this Saturday night's Mass and all Morning Masses on Sunday, December 13. Your small donation of $5 will help Abbygale and her young family during this difficult time. Abby will need substantial treatment along with appropriate medical supplies to help overcome this horrible disease.
