Praised be Jesus Christ!
After much prayer, I have decided to resign from my position at SEAS in order to pursue a career in the secular world. Words cannot describe the joy and honor it has been to serve the Catholic Church as a career the past 22 years, 9 of which have been at SEAS (2001-2005 and 2012-2017)!
My family and I will remain in North Fort Worth. We attend Sunday Mass at St. Benedict's Parish in Fort Worth, and will continue to attend daily Mass at SEAS and be involved in activities, especially youth ministry, since our oldest child is now entering middle school. We are thankful for your prayers. Please join me in praying for the right person to fill this vacant position. Specifically that the person will give a generous "yes" and those hiring the person will have the wisdom to choose the right candidate.
Prayer of Saint Thomas Aquinas
Creator of all things, true source of light and wisdom, origin of all being, graciously let a ray of Your light penetrate the darkness of my understanding. Take from me the double darkness in which I have been born, an obscurity of sin and ignorance. Give me a keen understanding, a retentive memory, and the ability to grasp things correctly and fundamentally. Grant me the talent of being exact in my explanations and the ability to express myself with thoroughness and charm. Point out the beginning, direct the progress, and help in the completion. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
My last day will be July 31st.
