IF YOU CURRENTLY USE ONLINE GIVING TO SUPPORT YOUR PARISH COMMUNITY
(or if you'd like to start taking advantage of the convenience of this method)
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Saint Louise de Marillac has used Faith Direct as our online giving platform since 2006, and more recently, it has been available for St. Joan of Arc parishioners as well. Faith Direct has served us well in allowing a steady cash flow to the church and ease of donating for our parishioners.
In preparation for the merger of our two parish locations, we evaluated various companies that provide online giving and have decided to make a change in vendors that will better serve our needs. Effective January 1, 2021, we will be using Online Giving, from Our Sunday Visitor (OSV), as our electronic offertory vendor.
Considerable thought and analysis went into this decision and some of the important points about OSV that influenced the change are as follows:
OSV provides a greater saving in overall cost to the parishes.
OSV is an established catholic nonprofit organization.
OSV has been our envelope vendor for many years and has been a great partner.
OSV provides parishioner support for all online giving needs.
OSV continuously updates with new technology for our parishioners.
Other parishes in our Diocese that use OSV for online giving
are very pleased with their service and ease of use.
It is important that we coordinate the transition well. Faith Direct will cease all transition as of February 1, 2021. We are asking all Faith Direct subscribers to enroll with OSV by December 31, 2020 and encouraging all parishioners to consider using online giving for your offertory to Saint Catherine Labouré Parish.
Sign up is easy:
1) Go to Online Giving link on our parish website (www.sja-stl.org)
2) Select "Create New Account"
3) Follow the step by step navigation to set up your account.
4) Once registered, if you used Faith Direct previously,
cancel your account with Faith Direct.
Thank you for your continued support.
OSV provides our families the ability to give to our parish via electronic donations. This is a new way of giving that saves time, money and resources.
