Our Lady of Mt Carmel
Sunday, January 3rd
2 PM to 4 PM
Our thanks to Fr John for allowing City of the Lord to celebrate our GCG and Mass at OLMC on January 3rd. We moved this event to the Church to allow better spatial distancing than our Community Center can provide due to the current increase in Covid Cases in Arizona and particularly among many members of our community. We want as many of our members to attend as possible and the larger venue should make that possible.
Also, we are requiring face coverings at all times while inside the church during this event. If you do not wish to comply with this request, please attend via our live stream broadcast. Thank you for cooperating with this requirement!

From John Hoyt:
I had an appointment with my main doctor for this cancer treatment. The doctor was very upbeat about the PET scan. He went so far as to say I do not have any cancer however, he has ordered an MRI to confirm. The MRI is scheduled for Dec 31. I will follow up with the doctors again in mid-January to get the MRI results. Please keep up the prayers for a cancer-free MRI scan, and the cancer never to return. Mary and I, and the whole family are grateful for your prayers!

Thank you for the prayers, cards and love over the past few months! The surgeon confirmed that he was able to get all the cancer and my loooong scar continues to heal nicely. The nature of this cancer is such that I need to be on the lookout for a reoccurrence and ask for continued prayers moving forward. May the miracle continue!

Brothers and Sisters,
A very dear friend of our daughter and former YANA youth, Theresa Kidd (now Carroll - married Thomas Carroll),
have a 2 1/2 year old son in the hospital. The doctors found a large tumor enclosed in the liver. They believe it is
cancerous, which would need liver transplant and chemotherapy. They have 3 other sons, the youngest is only a
couple of months old, and they are out of state visiting family.
As you can see, they really need prayers. Thank you for your support.
