Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Sisters in Christ,
Happy New Year and blessings to you and your families!
We hope you'll be able to join us for Spiritual Exercises this year. We have two open retreats coming up: a Virtual Retreat for Women will begin this weekend and an in-person retreat will be held on February 5-7. These retreats are rooted in the methods of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and offer a special time of silence for the journey of your soul. This can be an adventure of renewal where your soul is refreshed and strengthened. It is also a good time to re-examine and deepen your relationship with God.
IN-PERSON RETREAT
February 5-7, 2021
at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in Norwood, Ohio
Space is limited! Go to
rcohiovalley.org/womens-se2 for more information and to register for the February weekend. ALL who come will be required to wear a mask and observe social distancing, as well as complete a COVID self-assessment questionnaire. This questionnaire is intended for each woman to ask herself if she is at risk or will put others at risk. .
VIRTUAL RETREAT FOR WOMEN
Available Online
from January 8 through Lent 2021
It's not too late to register for this retreat, which begins this weekend. For more information and to register, please go to
rcohiovalley.org/womens-se.
Fr. Thomas Flynn, LC, will be our retreat director, and he has prepared a schedule for this 3-day Virtual Retreat that assumes you'll start at 7PM on Day 1 and finish by 1PM on Day 3. While it is designed to be completed over a 3-day weekend, it can be done at any time between January 8 and the end of Lent -- with flexibility to adjust to your particular circumstances. The initial weekend runs January 8 to 10, 2021, and will close with a live Q&A session on January 10 that will be recorded for those who participate afterward.
All registered participants will be sent a secure link (password required) to the online portal for this virtual retreat by January 6th and within 48 hours of registration thereafter.
