For the Church, trusting in Jesus’ constant presence, that we may act to bring the reign of God to realization in the world, loving God and loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. We pray to the Lord.
For our nation, that we may repent for the wrongs we have done, whose repercussions continue to be felt, and the wrongs that we continue to do, and turn to the source of life and goodness. We pray to the Lord.
For all those who suffer from want, from lack of shelter, heat, adequate nutrition, or health care, that they may find sustenance and hope in the generosity of those with plenty. We pray to the Lord.
For our parish community, that we may always be willing to look into our own hearts and repent and return to the Lord when we have strayed. We pray to the Lord.
For all who have been affected by COVID19, may God’s healing presence be comfort to them and bring health and well-being. We pray to the Lord.
For the departed, who remain with us in our prayers and our memories, and for the promise of a joyful reunion, and especially for:
+Ann Burke, +Mary Lou Jones and +John and Virginia Kaufman We pray to the Lord
