Hello, Faith-Filled Families!
Happy New Year and welcome to 2021!
We certainly don't know what this year will hold but we do know that Jesus is right here in the boat with us! A great lesson from this pandemic is that we are not in control of the big stuff. We can control what we have for dinner and how we choose to spend our time but there is much that we must leave in God's hands, making it so important to spend time increasing our faith in Him!
When young children are stressed or hurt or feel anxiety they instinctively come to their parents. In the same way we must come to our Heavenly Father, if even for five minutes each day. We must help our children trust that God knows us. loves us, and will make good things come from our current circumstances.
One way we come to Him and feel His love, reassurance and guidance is through the Mass. Our lesson this week uses videos to teach about the parts of the mass
and why we do what we do. The activity sheet guides our children to think about the actions and items of the Mass as they sort them.
As always, please tailor the lesson to the age and interests of your children. If they prefer to draw or write the actions and items instead of cutting and pasting that is fine. If they would like to write about the part of mass that is most meaningful to them and why, that is another option rather than the sorting activity.

May God bless the time you spend sharing faith with your children!
