Good Afternoon,
Today, as we celebrate the baptism of our Lord, let us remember our own baptism. When we were anointed with that water and oil, we were welcomed into the kingdom of God. Jesus showed us the way to salvation, and it is up to us to use His example. Now, more than at any time in recent history, it is vital that we as Christians recommit to our own baptism and work to spread the kingdom of God here on Earth.
We continue to do very well with our COVID numbers. Please continue your work in keeping us all in school. Also, please see the note below about our expanded testing capabilities here at school. This is a much simpler and quicker way for you to know if you have COVID-19 or not. Please take advantage of this opportunity, we have more than enough tests.
We are looking forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week at the end of the month. As we have done in past years, we will be collecting items for our Catholic Schools Week service project. Please see the flyer below for what each class is being asked to bring in. We would like to collect as many items as possible so that we can help as many people as possible. Thank you for your participation.

COVID Testing Update
We are excited to announce that KDHE has allowed us to expand our COVID testing to include family members of students. So, if anyone in your immediate family is experiencing symptoms and you would like to have them tested, please reach out to Mr. O'Neill to schedule a test. The test is very simple and only takes 15 minutes to receive results. These tests are very accurate for symptomatic individuals and do not require a confirmatory test. All results are reported to KDHE and the Lyon County Health department.
COVID School Update
We continue to do very well in terms of COVID cases at the school. We do not currently have any students or staff members in quarantine or isolation. This is very encouraging and a trend that we would like to see continue. It is essential to communicate and let us know if there have been any exposures in your family or if any household individuals have tested positive or are experiencing symptoms. The best way to keep spread from happening is to limit exposure. Thank you all for practicing safe habits and for taking protocols seriously.
