What You'll See (and Hear)
This is round two of our Live Stream adventure this weekend, and, of course, we're always looking to improve your experience of praying online with us.
Through the week we've been able to make some improvements to the audio portion (the sound part) of the production. You'll still hear a bit of static that sounds like a "hiss" in the background, but it's not nearly as severe as it was last weekend. We're going to continue getting better, I promise.
The live stream starts at 9am every Sunday (actually at about 8:45, but the first bit is just warming up the cameras and other equipment). You can get to it these days by clicking on the link at our parish web site (
www.holycrossphl.org). As an alternative, you can go to
this site (
www.vimeo.com/event/583715) and find it there This site, by the way, is where every Mass is stored -- just in case you want to go back and review it later. Eventually, the production will be available right on the parish web page itself.
After the live stream is finished, the production is saved ("recorded") for viewing at the same site. If you check in while Mass is underway, you'll pick it up right at that point. If you check in early you'll be asked to wait until it begins; check in after Mass is finished and you'll see the stream from the beginning. Keep in mind that Mass actually begins at about the 15-minute mark, so move the slider ion the bottom of the page to that point in order get right to the start of Mass.
Remember: nothing is there until Sunday morning
I'm hoping that you're feeling well-served by this effort, since that's our real intention. Please let me know how we can serve you better.
