In nine days a new President and Vice President will be inaugurated at the nations capital.

Following last weeks riots and destruction and loss of life, threats against the current Vice President  the Speaker of the House, the President and Vice President Elect and other leaders have increased. Hatred and anger have festered in America for decades and you’ve heard me frequently condemn violence in my homilies. Violence from the “right” AND the “left”. Violence is never the answer. 

Because of this I tonight began a nine-day novena for Peace in America via our parish Facebook livestream. Each night from tonight to next Tuesday nite (January19), at 8:00 pm (7;00 pm this Wednesday), you are invited to join in the livestream novena.
