Hello Students, Parents, & Group Leaders,
Thus far, we've followed the same protocols the state has required for high schools in regard to Covid19. However, given recent developments, we're allowed to continue in-person religious activities even when local schools are required to close. This being said, it is still our responsibility to make sure we are doing what we believe to be best for the students, their families, and the group leaders who help at the Well.
Given our current setup, I believe we can continue to meet in-person for religious education while preventing the spread of Covid19 for a number of reasons.
- Thus far, we have not had any outbreaks directly connected to the Well that we are aware of. This affirms that we are continuing to successfully distance and minimize the transfer of COVID at the Well.
- Since we only sit in small groups, exposures are extremely limited.
- We are able to continue to provide content both online and in-person, so those who are quarantined can still learn from home.
While we continue classes in-person, masks must still be worn for the entirety of the class, and anyone who is experiencing any sickness or illness should remain home.
Again, if you (your child) don't feel comfortable attending in person, I'm doing my best to make sure you (they) can receive the same content and resources at home. Thank you so much for your cooperation and please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
May God Bless You,
Jordan Spitzley
