Here are the THREE things you need to know from the desk of Mr. Berry.
1) Enrollment Fee Charged 2/1
What's new: Please note, a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee of $150 will be charged to your TADS account on Monday (2/1) for the 2021-2022 academic year. This fee is per family (not per student).
Why it's important: All current PreK - 7th-grade families (who have not opted out) have been automatically enrolled for the next grade level in the upcoming school year. Each year, on February 1st, this one-time fee is charged. We simply did not want anyone caught off guard.
What's next: You should receive notification from TADS when the fee is assessed. Please reach out to Paul Berry (pberry@olpmn.org) with any questions.

2) Trivia Night is Friday (2/5)
What's new: What's the one event even a global pandemic couldn't stop? OLP Trivia Night!
Why it's important: Because we are all way overdue for a fun night... in! This year, OLP has partnered with Trivia Mafia, a local company that has reinvented itself as a result of the pandemic, to provide a full-service virtual trivia night experience that promises to be pandemic-safe and tons of fun.

What's next: Watch for an invite coming soon, brush up on your trivia, form your teams and let the trash talking begin! (I would say, "Save the date, Friday, February 5th but then again, it's not like any of us have plans these days...)
3) OLP's Got Talent!
What's new: Catholic Schools Week is coming at the end of this month and Eddie wants to know, what's your talent?
Why it's important: Traditionally, one of our favorite parts of Catholic Schools Week is the annual (in-person) talent show. While we are unable to come together this year to celebrate in person the many talents Eagle Nation has to offer (not to mention enjoy the famous $2 "Eagle Dog Meal Deal) we will not let that stop us from turning the spotlight on our very talented students. This year, we are inviting all students to send a 60-second video to Eddie the Eagle (EEagle@olpmn.org) by Friday, January 22nd, showcasing their talents. Whether you are singing, dancing, performing magic, or telling jokes, we can't wait to see it!
