Faith Formation Class Schedule Changes. Due to the recent rise in COVID cases in our surrounding communities, the Children's Faith Formation program will undergo a few changes in scheduling. There will be no GIFT, or Tuesday classes for the remainder of January, and Tuesday. Classes will only meet once a month for the remainder of the year. Parents have been notified of these changes via email by Mrs. Karen Dietz, our Coordinator of Religious Education. Materials may be picked up this Sunday, January 17, in the hall from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
Here is the revised calendar of dates and times for this school year.
January 17-February 10: NO CLASSES in PERSON
February 21: GIFT class, 10-11 AM
February 23: TUES class, 6-7 PM
March 21: GIFT class, 10-11 AM
March 23: TUES class, 6-7 PM
April 18: GIFT class, 10-11 AM
April 13: TUES class, 6-7 PM
RCIA Our three Catechumens: Brad, Catie and Sean, are beginning a more intense instruction about our Catholic faith. Please keep them in your prayers as they discover the sacraments in the coming weeks.
St Mary's Prayer Chain allows those in need of prayer to give their requests to people willing to take a little time to offer up prayers on their behalf. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we ask for healing, peace, comfort and guidance for those who need healing. The prayer chain is open to all to offer a prayer for these requests. The more love and support we have from the parish, the greater the power of prayer raised up to God's mercy and love allowing the recipient to be wrapped in the pure comfort of that prayer. We at St Mary's are truly blessed by this ministry and would love to have you come pray will us. Community Outreach and Respect Life
Life is Beautiful Mass, Sunday, January 24th at 10:45am, Basilica of the Assumption. Archbishop Lori will celebrate the annual Life is Beautiful Mass at the Basilica of the Assumption. All are welcome to join via livestream via the Archdiocesan Facebook page and YouTube channel.
What is Your Life Issue? Wednesday, January 27th at 7:00pm with Archbishop Lori and Emcee Bob Rice. Join the Archbishop and a host of guests to hears testimonies from those affected by life issues, including the death penalty and the defense of the unborn. With the cancellation of the Rally, this is an opportunity for young people to gather and stand in support of life in all its stages and forms.

The food pantry will be open on Saturday, January 16, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. There is a snow date of Saturday, January 23.
Our Daily Bread. On Tuesday the 12th, we collected 47 casseroles, 35 homemade masks, 12 rosaries, 32 single serve cereal boxes, and 42 single serve peanut butter cups for ODB.
We were recently notified that ODB's needs have changed. They have produced a new schedule for casserole deliveries. St. Mary's Outreach volunteers will be discussing how we're going to fit into the new ODB schedule.
At this time, we do not plan to collect casseroles in February. Please watch for future announcements.

Masses for weddings and funerals are permitted outside, or inside with limited attendance. Please check with the parish office for further guidance.
Canceled Events and Activities
The parish buildings are still closed to the public except for religious services and education. All public events and most parish activities are canceled or postponed.
Sacraments
- Contact the Parish Office to arrange for Baptisms and the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing).
- The Sacrament of the Sick for in-patients is available through the hospital chaplains.
Volunteering for the Parish
Volunteers are the backbone of the parish and we welcome new volunteers with open arms. However, in the world today we must do everything we can to protect all people of all ages, the church and also yourself.
If you are ready and willing to give of your time and talent to be a part of one or more of our many ministries, please contact Barbara Sadler, Extension 22 or Barbara_stmarys@yahoo.com for the information and guidance of the required Virtus training. The training will provide insight for the protection of all age groups and the responsibilities. DON’T WORRY!! It is an easy procedure.
