St. Lawrence Catholic Church is seeking a part-time parish secretary working 24 to 29 hours per week. This position reports to the Director of Operations and will be located at the St. Lawrence Rectory. The position is responsible for providing administrative and office support to the Missionary Pastor, priests and staff. 

Some of the essential duties include: 

• Receiving visitors and calls to answer questions, take messages, and schedule meetings. 

• Enter and retrieve data and maintain records. 

• Register new parishioners. 

• Handle Mass intentions and associated duties. 

• Maintain sacramental records. 

• Update parish web page and other social media communications 

Education/Experience: 

• High School diploma or GED. 

• Strong organizational skills. 

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer database programs. 

• Respect and uphold Catholic Church teachings 

• Able to honor and maintain confidentiality.
