Second Week in Ordinary Time
This season is called "ordinary time" because ordinal numbers are used in the title of each Sunday and weekday. This season begins at the end of the Christmas Season until Lent, then takes a break for Lent and Easter Season and continues through summer and autumn until the beginning of Advent Season.
ORDINAL NUMBER: Definition
a number defining a thing's position in a series, such as “first,” “second,” or “third.” Ordinal numbers are used as adjectives, nouns, and pronouns.

Holy Communion after Some Masses
We distribute Holy Communion in the lobby/narthex of the church and curbside in the handicapped parking next to church for 30 minutes only after conclusion of the 4pm and 11am Masses.

Please wear your mask over your nose and mouth when in church as an act of charity for others. We have a few fresh masks in the narthex if you forget yours, just so you can worship. Sorry, but we do not have enough for your weekly needs.

So he went back to sleep.
Again the LORD called Samuel, who rose and went to Eli.

But Eli answered, “I did not call you, my son. Go back to sleep.”

Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.”
When Samuel went to sleep in his place,
the LORD came and revealed his presence,
calling out as before, “Samuel, Samuel!”
Samuel answered, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

The body is not for immorality, but for the Lord,
and the Lord is for the body;

Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter,
was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus.
He first found his own brother Simon and told him,
“We have found the Messiah” — which is translated Christ —.
Then he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said,
“You are Simon the son of John;
you will be called Cephas” — which is translated Peter.
and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said,
