9 Days for Life: Thursday, January 21 – Friday, January 29. Each day's intention of the 9 Days for Life novena is accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions. Participants can sign up to receive the novena by text message or email in either English or Spanish at 9daysforlife.com and bit.ly/9-dias-por-la-vida-2021, respectively.
What is Your Life Issue? Wednesday, January 27th at 7:00pm with Archbishop Lori and Emcee Bob Rice. Join the Archbishop and a host of guests to hear testimonies from those affected by life issues, including the death penalty and the defense of the unborn. With the cancellation of the Youth Rally for Life, this is an opportunity for young people to gather and stand in support of life in all its stages and forms.

Watch the March for Life Live! Friday, January 29, 2021. Watch the livestream of the March for Life beginning at 11 a.m. ET. The live broadcast will include inspiring speeches from pro-life leaders, information on how to stay involved in the pro-life movement all year long, and a performance by Christian singer and songwriter Matthew West.
Harford County COVID Vaccine Information.
The Harford County Health Department urges those over 65 to register now to get the COVID-19 vaccine. After registering, check your email daily for a notice of dates the vaccine will be available for you. If you do not have an email, you have the option to request a phone call or to provide the email address of a relative's who will be looking out for you. The Heath Department hopes to receive more vaccine in the next few weeks and to speed up the vaccination process.
Sue Dieter (410 937-4035) is a trained Covid-19 Vaccine Volunteer and is available to assist anyone that has questions or needs help to sign up. You must know the exact name on your driver's license to complete the sign up.
York County COVID Vaccine Information
Pennsylvania is in Phase 1A and has begun vaccinating those most at risk of illness, such as health care workers and Pennsylvanians living in long-term care facilities, persons age 65 and older and those age 16-64 with high-risk conditions. York County's hospitals — WellSpan and UPMC Pinnacle — were among the first 100 in Pennsylvania to receive vaccine shipments.

Around the Parish
Music Ministry Update. We are searching for candidates who are interested in leading music during Masses, Saturdays at 4 PM and Sundays at 8 AM and 9:30 AM. This may be a good time to explore your interests; we are currently serving by singing the opening, offertory, communion, and concluding hymns. A thirty (30)-minute rehearsal before the Masses is required to review music, and if necessary, a separate rehearsal during the week. Reading music is not a requirement. All COVID-19 protocols and regulations are, and will be, followed. Musicians and singers must be Virtus Trained (for training information contact Barbara Sadler ext 22). Faith Formation Class Schedule Changes. Due to the recent rise in COVID cases in our surrounding communities, the Children's Faith Formation program has changed schedule. There are no GIFT, or Tuesday classes for the remainder of January, and Tuesday classes only meet once a month for the remainder of the year. For questions, contact Karen Dietz, Coordinator of Religious Education.

Respect Life and Community Outreach
Life is Beautiful Mass, Sunday, January 24th at 10:45am, Basilica of the Assumption. Archbishop Lori will celebrate the annual Life is Beautiful Mass at the Basilica of the Assumption. All are welcome to join via livestream via the Archdiocesan Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The Food Pantry is always in need of volunteers. Please contact Sue Pardo or Bob Hoopert if you are interested. It only requires a few hours several Saturdays a year. Must be Virtus Trained (for training information contact Barbara Sadler ext 22).

Weddings and Funerals
Masses for weddings and funerals are permitted outside, or inside with limited attendance. Please check with the parish office for further guidance.
Canceled Events and Activities
The parish buildings are still closed to the public except for religious services and education. All public events and most parish activities are canceled or postponed.
Sacraments
- Contact the Parish Office to arrange for Baptisms and the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing).
- The Sacrament of the Sick for in-patients is available through the hospital chaplains.
Volunteering for the Parish
Volunteers are the backbone of the parish and we welcome new volunteers with open arms. However, in the world today we must do everything we can to protect all people of all ages, the church and also yourself.
If you are ready and willing to give of your time and talent to be a part of one or more of our many ministries, please contact Barbara Sadler, Extension 22 or Barbara_stmarys@yahoo.com for the information and guidance of the required Virtus training. The training will provide insight for the protection of all age groups and the responsibilities. DON’T WORRY!! It is an easy procedure.
