of sins…WOULD YOU USE IT?
It needs no sharpening, no loading, and no firing.
It’s held in the hand and it has fantastic spiritual power.
THE WEAPON IS THE HOLY ROSARY!
If we knew how powerful the Rosary was, we would never hesitate to pray it; as the Venerable
Fulton Sheen has said: “The power of the Rosary is beyond description.”
Here are 7 reasons to make praying the Rosary a daily habit:
We need the Rosary to fight daily temptations.
We need the Rosary to slow down and find calm.
We need the Rosary to live a life connected to Our Lord and Savior Jesus.
We need the Rosary to remain connected the loving care of Our Mother Mary
We need the Rosary to pray for others in a strong and dedicated way.
We need the Rosary to bring peace not only in our live, but to the world
We need to pray the Rosary to help us pray when we don’t know what to pray for, or how to ask for it.
Because the Rosary is such a powerful prayer, I strongly encourage us to make to make it a special part of our daily lives…As Saint Padre Pio has said:
“The Rosary is the weapon of these times.”
…and it certainly is with all that’s going on in our nation, but around the world.

January 22, 2021: Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn
The over 56 million abortions since the 1973 decisions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton reflect with heartbreaking magnitude what Pope Francis means by a “throwaway culture.” However, we have great trust in God’s providence. We are reminded time and again in Scripture to seek the Lord’s help, and as people of faith, we believe that our prayers are heard.
The General Instruction of the Roman Missal, no. 373, designates January 22 as a particular day of prayer and penance, called the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children”: “In all the Dioceses of the United States of America, January 22 (or January 23, when January 22 falls on a Sunday) shall be observed as a particular day of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life and of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion.”
As individuals, we are called to observe this day through the penitential practices of prayer, fasting and/or giving alms
