March For Life Opportunities
in our State and Diocese
Friday, January 22nd is the National Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.
This coming year we are commemorating the solemn anniversary of Roe v. Wade with a number of activities which may interest the people to whom you serve.
These events include:
January 21, 2021 – Vigil for Life, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Carmel, from 7-9 pm. This event focuses on praying for an end to abortion and the restoration of a culture of life. The evening includes Eucharistic adoration and benediction, praise and worship music, and confessions. Because of seating restrictions due to COVID, registration is highly encouraged, and can be done here:

This event is free. Diapers will be collected at the door for distribution to local crisis pregnancy centers.
January 22, 2021 – Mass at St. John’s, Indianapolis, at 10:30 am
This Mass begins the day’s events on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and will include people from around the state Registration is required, and can be done here:

January 22, 2021 – Indiana March for Life and Rally, beginning at 12 noon
The Indiana March for Life will begin at Georgia St. near St. John’s Church and proceed to the Indiana Statehouse. The rally will then follow on the south lawn of the Statehouse.

We are going to be joined by the young adult prolife organization, We Dignify, from Illinois, as a part of their prolife Midwest Tour this year. January 22, 2021 – Diocesan Mass for Life, St. Mary Cathedral, 6:30 pm
Due to COVID seating restrictions, this year we are hosting a Mass for Life, with Bishop Doherty presiding. Registration is required, and can be done here: https://lafayettediocesemassforlife.eventbrite.com
