This weekend we celebrate the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time. Join Fr. Phil and St. Theresa Catholic community in person or our service broadcast live at sttheresa.cc/online-mass or on our Youtube channel at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 10:00 a.m., and 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The reconciliation schedule will remain the same during the closure. Sunday obligation to attend Mass and Holy Days continues to be suspended. In-person gatherings on parish campuses are allowed only for programs of sacramental preparation. This permission for in-person catechetical gatherings does not include adult bible studies, conferences, or special presentations.

Did you know that St. Theresa collects food every week for Casa Juan Diego?

The wicker basket on the altar is used to drop off food not only during weekend mass times but anytime the church is open. This week Casa Juan Diego needs: Maseca, canned fruit and vegetables and canned meats such as salmon and tuna.

Volunteers Needed at Loaves and Fishes
St. Theresa will be serving the homeless at the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen
on February 24th, March 18th, March 19th, March 20th, April 17, and May 16,
from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare and package food and distribute food boxes
to the homeless (socially distanced behind plexiglass). With the new guidelines,
Loaves and Fishes can only accept 5-7 volunteers per shift.

Being a deacon requires having a helper’s heart, a readiness to be of service, and a willingness to respond to God’s call to public ministry in the Church.

If you are a man between the ages of 32 and 52 and have ever thought about being a deacon, how about spending an hour with Deacon Larry at a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, January 27 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. You do not have to be ready to make that decision. Vocations often unfold over a number of years. This is simply an informational setting.
