I know that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. However, it is starting to feel like there is a little light at the end of the tunnel. With that being said, all we can really do is continue doing what we do and monitor the cases around us. I pray that as the vulnerable receive the vaccine we will see the number of fatalities decrease immediately.
It is cool to see the calendar starting to get some events penciled in and even better to start seeing some of our folks returning.
I did want to mention a few events for everyone to be watching out for and making plans to participate if you can.
Starting tomorrow morning, we will have Coffee Shop for 3 Saturdays. This is simply a time for folks to drop by and fellowship with the family and grab a cup of coffee. I’m also asking each Ministry Team Leader to come by for 20 minutes on one of those Saturdays to look over 2021. If I can help you with your plans I would love to help. Coffee Shop is from 9am till 11am.
The 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off is January 24th. All the information about the event and to sign up is on our Website. We are expecting a great day and some AWESOME chili!
Financial Peace University starts February 6. You will hear more and more about this over the next few weeks because this is a LIFE CHANGING opportunity that is right before you. Believe me, I know about being in debt and over my head before. No matter your financial condition, you can benefit from this 9 week class held at the church. These classes will begin at 10am. Information and sign up is on our website.
Attached is this weeks bulletin. You will see that on April 17 we are putting together a Benefit Ride for Debi Hoffman. Rodney and Debi are such a blessing to us and we are asking everyone to start planning now to be there and to pitch in to help them out during this tough time. Debi is currently taking 7 weeks of treatments and we all can only imagine the financial stress they must be in. If you know a business that would like to be a sponsor, please let me know. There will be opportunities to purchase advertisements for this fundraiser.
Oh....don’t forget the Valentines Fundraiser coming up February 13. This is always a lot of fun and the money we raise will go towards the children’s playground and ministry.
I pray you all stay safe. If you are feeling the hardships of Covid and need food, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your identity will remain anonymous!
Have a great evening!
