Special Diocesan Mass for Life
Although circumstances prevented a diocesan pilgrimage to the annual March for Life in Washington DC this year, we are blessed to have the opportunity to participate in a special Mass for Life offered by Bishop David J. Malloy, on January 22, 2021, the national “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.” To attend the Mass in-person signup is required. In accord with COVID-19 mitigation protocols, capacity is limited to 300 persons. Masks and social distance are required. The Mass will be live-streamed at https://www.stmaryhuntley.org/.

“This will be the first year since I have been here (as bishop of the Rockford Diocese) that I was not planning to go to Washington with our young people and others to March for Life. This issue is so important and the spiritual practice of that annual Mass is so valuable that I wanted to try to keep it alive,” Bishop Malloy said.
