Are you looking to get involved at St. Clare? Here are some great ways to get involved.
MINISTERS OF HOSPITALITY
Ministers of Hospitality, or Ushers, have a special role to play wherever God's people assemble for Liturgy. Ushers minister to the congregation through various acts of hospitality. Many hands make light work, and we need a few more hands... especially at the 5:00 pm, 8:00 am and 10:00 am weekend Masses. Please prayerfully consider giving of your time! We welcome teens and adults as well as confirmation candidates to work in our ministry.
MEDIA PROJECTION
There is a need for persons to help project the song lyrics, prayers and readings at Mass. No previous experience required and the hope is that with enough people, you would be volunteering once a month.
SACRISTAN
Each Mass there is a need for someone or some family to set out the sacred vessels. You would prepare the priest’s chalice, the bread and wine for consecration plus linens. After Mass you would clean the vessels and put them away for use at the next Mass.
READERS — MINISTERS OF THE WORD
Ministers of the Word are the story re-tellers of the faith community. The task of the Reader is to skillfully draw the assembly into the Scriptures. The Word of God is alive! It is not merely read - it is PROCLAIMED. Please consider submitting your name if you meet the following criteria: a practicing Catholic, distinguished in your Christian life, faith and morals, and if married, married in the Catholic church; possess the requisite abilities and temperament to carry out the assigned reading.
