Dear Holy Name of Mary Parishioners,
Last January I had the privilege of joining many of you on the bus to The March For Life in DC to support and advocate for the protection of unborn babies and human life at all stages. The march is a beautiful walk through our nation’s capital, with many diverse groups from all over the country uniting for one cause. I am always amazed that the majority of marchers are youth with a passion for protecting babies and the elderly in our society. These peaceful crowds have gathered to share their voices for 46 consecutive years.
Unfortunately, due to Covid and unrest in Washington, The March For Life organizers are canceling the public march and are holding it virtually. There will be a small group of organizers presenting and marching that day. If you want to join this march virtually go to this web address:
This event will take place January 29th at 11:00 a.m. You can also say special prayers that our leaders in DC respect and protect vulnerable human life from the moment of conception until natural death.
Thank you again to those who have generously donated to support Holy Name of Mary’s participation in the march. Hopefully we will be enjoying this peaceful event in person next January!
If you would like to join our group at Holy Name or learn more about The Respect For Life Society please feel free to email me directly.
Peace in Christ,
Jessica Dieckman (pyewacket6@yahoo.com)
