Many of our parishioners are homebound, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic causing increased loneliness and isolation. Write an encouraging note to our homebound to let them know they are in our prayers. Send your notes via email to vwesley@stelizabethchurchmd.org (that can be printed) or handwritten to the parish office.

Support Centro Tepeyac Silver Spring Women’s Center

Founded in 1990, Centro Tepeyac Silver Spring Women’s Center (Centro Tepeyac) is a nonprofit clinic, offering various services to men, women in the Washington DC metro area. Although the clinic was founded to provide assistance primarily to Hispanic women and their families, it now serves both, Spanish and English-speaking patients. Support St. Joseph’s House

St. Joseph's House is a nonprofit – housed in and run solely out of the LaHood family home – serving children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During the school year, SJH offers home-based after-school care, which enables our parents, many of whom are parenting alone, to hold jobs. The Father McKenna Center is an independent 501(c)3 in the Ignatian Catholic tradition, steps from the US Capitol in Washington, DC. Dorothy Day Place is a single adult transitional shelter that functions as a crucial bridge between homelessness and permanent housing.
