VENITE ADOREMUS
Every second Friday of the month the Diocese of Madison hosts 'Venite Adoremus', Latin for 'Come let us adore Him', which is an opportunity to spend time with Jesus and other young adults in Eucharistic Adoration, go to Reconciliation, and go out to a local establishment afterward to connect with other young adults over drinks and apps! YOUNG ADULT SUMMER SPORTS LEAGUE
There's still a few weeks left of the YA sports league! It's a great way to meet other young adults in the Madison Catholic community!
Here are the basic details:
1. The league runs at Holy Name Heights (formerly the Bishop O'Connor Center) on Madison's west side, every remaining summer Monday until August 21st (with a wrap-up celebration on August 28th). The remaining sports are football, softball and kickball.
2. For registration, each person will need to sign a waiver. The cost to participate is a one-time $10 fee to turn in the first game you attend. Anybody who plays in more than one game should be paying the fee. The fee covers field maintenance and the end-of-year celebration.
There are teams from several different parishes; if you are a Cathedral parishioner - or want to be one :) - please contact one of the captains, Rhiannon Buehler (deportes.catedral@gmail.com) or Melissa Helt (mel86smurf@yahoo.com), to register for one of the TWO Cathedral teams! And make sure to wear a green or white shirt to the games depending on which team you are on (Cathedral Green or Cathedral White)!
