Can you believe it's already one month into the New Year? Lent is just around the corner, which is a great time to renew your relationship and commitment to the Lord. In Scripture Jesus says, "This kind can only be driven out by prayer and fasting" (Mark 9:29) when his apostles are unsuccessful at casting out a demon from a young boy. In the Spiritual battle of life, our weapons are prayer and fasting. As we enter into Lent soon, check out some of our Lenten opportunities here.

Fiat 90 Info Meeting | Feb. 10, 7pm at St. James Coffee

A local young adult from St. Pius, Kieran McDonald, has an art exhibit at the Rochester Art Center (RAC) from Jan. 13 to Mar. 7. His work explores a variety of themes, such as his his Catholic faith, mental health, politics, justice, nature, and personal life experiences.

St. James Coffee and Prayer
Is God nudging you to be bold in 2021 witnessing your faith? We are looking for volunteers to join our prayer team that goes out each Tuesday morning between 7 - 8 am to offer free coffee and prayer to those who drive by on 41st Street. All that is necessary is a prayerful heart and a love of God. We have a few different roles to fill each week. Eucharistic Adoration Reopening at Pax Christi
Pax Christi is opening up one day of Adoration in their Adoration chapel at a time. Currently, they are working on filling Tuesday to have someone all hours of the day adoring our Lord in the Eucharist. Right now Exposition is happening between 4am and 10pm Tuesdays. If you are interested in filling an hour on Tuesday or another day of the week (Wednesday and Thursday), please contact the Pax Christi parish secretary at bvelez@paxchristichurch.org.
