The Annual St. Blase Feastday Blessing of Throats will be a little different during the current pandemic. This will be offered at our three Wednesday Masses on February 3, 2021. The priest will offer the blessing from the sanctuary to all collectively.  The priest and/or deacon may also offer a blessing using the candles individually, but without saying words individually to each recipient.  The Blessing of Throats will only be offered during Masses  on Wednesday at 7:30 AM and the 9:00 AM Mass for Holy Family School at St. John the Baptist Church. The 9 AM Mass is also livestreamed so anyone watching can also receive the blessing. There is also a 6:30 PM Mass at St. Irenaeus Church on Wednesday, February 3.  Through the intercession of St. Blase, Bishop and Martyr, may God deliver us from every disease of the throat and every other illness.
