Ashes will be distributed at each Mass and service.
Stations of the Cross
All Fridays in Lent
Friday, February 19 through Friday, March 26 stations will be at 5:30 PM
Good Friday, April 02 stations will be at 4:00 PM
Evening Prayer / Vespers
Evening Prayer will follow immediately after stations, around 6:00 PM every Friday in Lent except Good Friday.
Evening Prayer will continue to be at 6:00 PM on Tuesdays.
All of the above will be located in the chapel on 909 McCormick Street in Denton.
Please note, unless exempt due to age, infirmity, etc, all are required by the Church to fast and to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Abstinence from meat is required on all Fridays in Lent.
Exemptions from general fasting and/or abstinence do not apply to the Eucharistic fast (refraining from all food and drink except water and medications for no less than 1 hour prior to receiving Communion).
