FAT TUESDAY

Join us for a drive-thru event under the portico in front of Parish Hall.
Each car will receive a blessing from Father Travis or Deacon Perry along with a goody bag (limited amount available) and the chance to win an Easter ham and other prizes!
While Ash Wednesday is not a holy day of obligation and while there is no requirement for the clergy and faithful to receive the imposition of ashes, it is rightly observed as a celebration of high importance, and many will surely wish to participate even amid the current difficulties.
The priest will announce the words "Remember you are dust and to dust you shall return" to all present. The priest, deacon and lay ministers (without speaking) will sprinkle ashes on the heads of those that come forward.

These films and videos feature Bishop Robert Barron who has been hailed as “one of the Church’s greatest messengers" and is the second most-followed Catholic in the world on social media (behind Pope Francis). He is best known for his CATHOLICISM film series and his Emmy-nominated Pivotal Players series, which both aired on PBS and EWTN and have been seen by millions of people.

Haiti School Lunch Program
A substantial hot meal for the children at our Twin Parish school, Saint Anthony of Padua, consists of rice, beans, spices, and oil. If the lunch program goal is met, fish and sauce may be included in the hot meal periodically. Our goal is to feed 300 children this school year.
