Dear Parishioners and Devoted friends of St. Mary ~ St. Peter Parish
Father Nelson and I wish to thank the many parishioners and friends who have extended surprising charity and thought fulness to us and especially to the church as we commemorate a full year of this coronavirus pandemic. Please note that that as we continue to hope for that “better day”, we live each day pressing forward,--holding on to the hand of Lord.

The Lenten season draws near, I offer the following.
- Ash Wednesday Mass schedule—9am -noon and 5pm – 7pm in Spanish
Ashes will be distributed at the Masses.
- We remember the catechumens and candidates for the sacraments during Lent at all Masses.
- Lenten Saturdays at 10:00am – Book review and discussion with Deacon Jack.
- Lenten Thursday Adoration – 9:45am-7:00pm.
- Station of the Cross are prayed on Lenten Fridays 6:00pm honoring the lives post to Covid-19.
- The Anointing of the sick will be offered on February 23rd at the 9:00am Mass. Again, Tuesday, February 23rd at the 9:00am Mass.
- Remember, Fridays are meant to be meatless.
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be made available after the daily Lenten season Masses.
- Parish Lenten Retreat weekend Saturday and Sunday—March 13th- 14th.
We prepare our Lenten programs and practices with humility, patience, prayer, and service.
