WOMEN OF ST. FRANCIS MEETS TONIGHT
We're bringing back our White Elephant exchange – with a twist. To limit touch points, each participant will keep the gift that she chooses on the first try. Don’t buy something new, it should be something you already have in your possession; it can be really nice, or really silly! Also, we'll be collecting laundry detergent and dish soap for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry as well. See you tonight at 7pm in Murphy Hall!
WEDDING VOWS RENEWAL
Fr. Dave will complete a wedding vow renewal following the 4:45p Mass on Saturday, 2/13. All married couples are invited to attend this special Mass.
UPCOMING PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN SESSION
All staff and volunteers having contact with children are obliged to attend a Protecting God’s Children class and complete a background check. An online PGC will be held on Thursday, 2/18 at 6p. If you are interested in attending this free class, please register at
virtus.org. You must register no later than 2/16.
ANNUAL GIVING STATMENTS
Giving Statements are available through the parish office. Please stop by to pick yours up or call us at 740.345.9874 and we can email or mail them to you. EFT statements have been sent through email.
COLUMBUS CATHOLIC MEN'S CONFERENCE
Join men from all over the Columbus Diocese in-person at select parishes, as well as men from all over the country as they tune in virtually for the first conference of this kind on Saturday, 2/27, 9a - 12p. An amazing host and phenomenal array of speakers on fire with the Spirit are sure to inspire, encourage and strengthen conference attendees.
Learn more about the speakers here or
contact Eric with questions or to register for the St. Francis watch party.
PASSING THE VIRTUAL OFFERTORY BASKET
We really need everyone to make an ongoing pledge to support our mission. Electronic giving is currently the most consistent way to give, safest and most reliable. Will you consider how you can help us during this time?
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - MOST RECOMMENDED - For reoccurring gifts, you can set up automatic debit to one’s bank account or charges to one’s credit card. Please fill out this Offertory Commitment Form to set up recurring payments.
- One-Time Online Donation If you normally donate by envelopes or the basket, we have set up a link to donate online with a one-time donation by credit card. Click here to complete the form. You may use this link as often as you like.
- Text-to-Give Another option is through our new TEXT-to-GIVE number. Donate simply by texting SFDS to 740.240.6093. You can also use this in place of your normal offertory basket giving.
- US Mail If you would like to continue using your envelopes, please mail your contribution into the parish office at 40 Granville Street, Newark, OH 43055. Checks are preferred as cash is not a safe or secure way to fulfill your offertory through the mail.
