Lent begins this week with Ash Wednesday. The 40-day period leading up to Easter is a penitential season, which means it is an opportunity to examine your life, give your struggles over to God, and invite Him to help you become a better person.
During Lent, there is a strong focus on prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. All these spiritual exercises help prepare us for the celebration of passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus during Holy Week. Below are some opportunities for you to prepare and examine your heart this season.

How will ashes be distributed this year?
Mirroring an approved technique to anoint with oil in times of pandemic, we plan to use individual cotton swabs - one per guest - to apply ashes without requiring contact.
