Dear Friends in Christ,
The 40 days of Lent are approaching. How might your spirit be nourished by Jesus' teaching?
Pickup of Lenten materials (free devotion books for adults and children, ashes for home imposition, communion elements, flyers for at-home soup suppers) will be held this Sunday, Feb 14 at 10 am in the parking lot. Simply pull up to the circle drive where a masked and smiling church leader will help you.
As we continue to learn new ways of being the Body of Christ together, questions arise. Our office is open 8-12 weekdays. If you are in need of pastoral care, would like to visit the church sanctuary, can't make the Feb 14 pickup time but desire worship materials, or have a different request, all you need can be arranged by appointment (ph 507.583.6621).
The Lenten theme for 2021 is The Best Sermon I Ever Heard: Exploring the Sermon on the Mount. Below you will find an invitation to pause in reflection this Ash Wednesday. Please consider joining us either on the radio or by Zoom-your choice. Both events begin at 6pm. Radio Devotions and Soup Suppers at Home will continue each Wednesday thereafter.
With prayers for you always,
Pastor Heidi Heimgartner & Pastor Mike Walerius
PS One blessing of this time is that we can participate from far and wide. Please-go ahead & forward this email to interested friends & family.
