Dear Parishioners,
Recap
Thanks for your cooperation today. While I expected almost 400 people at our four Masses, we actually had 418 people inside the church and a few dozen outside in the parking lot. The last time we had more people was Christmas. The last Sunday with more people was November 29th.
I wonder if this is a turning point for our parish. We still need to be careful, but I'm hoping that more and more people will be able to return to Mass on campus.
Pretty soon, Mary Ann Dempkowski and I will be distributing ashes to our Religious Education children.
Snow & Surgery
While the forecast keeps changing, it looks like we'll have interesting weather tomorrow and Friday. I will celebrate Mass at 8 AM with livestreaming as usual.
Please pray for my sister Theresa tomorrow. She will be undergoing hand surgery to correct Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Because of the snow, I offered to drive her to and from the hospital.
Stations of the Cross
On Fridays during Lent, we will have Stations of the Cross right after the 8 AM Mass. The livestreaming will be continuous from the Rosary, to Mass, to Stations.
One source of the prayers we will use for the Stations of the Cross is at St. Edna's. Click
here.
Our livestreaming camera won't be able to focus on every single station, but I'll try to get it close.
God love you,
Fr. Jim
