Sunday Mass to be Recording Only
Ongoing Power Outage Closes Church and School
The church and campus are still without power and water. For that reason, Mass for the First Sunday of Lent will be recorded and made available beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, February 20th, on YouTube and Facebook.
Like many of you, the entire St. Theresa campus has been without power this week. The school has been closed and Masses and other parish and school activities were cancelled for Monday, Feb. 15 - Friday, Feb. 19. In addition, our phone system does not work without power, so it is best to contact parish staff via email addresses that can be found on our website staff page. We will keep you updated if there are any further interruptions, closings, etc. due to the weather event and its aftermath. Please drive carefully, and be safe.
Message from the Bishop
"This week’s freezing temperatures, snow and ice have brought much suffering to the people of Central Texas. My prayers and sympathies are with our people, and particularly with our parishes and schools, some of which have experienced many hardships." In addition, the Bishop has dispensed the faithful from abstaining from eating meat this Friday, recognizing the difficulties experienced over the past few days by so many, including the inability for some to secure food for themselves and their families.
A Parish-Wide Journey & Free Book
We are excited to offer all parishioners the booklet, “Living Your Baptism in Lent.” We will use these booklets as part of our Lenten journey as a faith community. The focus is on how each question of our baptismal promise shapes our understanding of what it means to live a Christian life. The books are being made available in the narthex. Enjoy it on your own or join a weekly small group. The group studies are being delayed due to the winter storm.
Fish Fry Dinners To-Go, Order by Monday
Beginning this coming Friday, Feb. 26, the Knights of Columbus will provide tasty catfish and shrimp dinners to-go. Those who ordered this past week will get a "snowcheck" credit toward this Friday's dinner and do not need to re-order. Please order online by the Monday prior to the Friday. Cost is $13 per plate and includes seasoned breaded fish, hushpuppies, fries, coleslaw and condiments. Learn more and place your order here.

Connections welcomes all women of the parish to walk step-by-step with Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane to Mount Calvary this Lent through a weekly six-part video series, No Greater Love-A Biblical Walk Through Christ’s Passion.
