2nd Sunday of Lent
“’Here I am!’ he answered.” (Genesis 22:11) It is easy to say, “Here I am, Lord,” when we are kneeling in church. But how easy is it to say “Here I am, Lord,” when a neighbor needs our help, when we are invited to join a parish ministry, or when we are asked to provide financial support? Often times we are called when it’s not convenient for us. Discipleship is not always easy, most of the time it will make us uncomfortable and vulnerable.

TO PARISHES:
Catholic Press Month
February is national Catholic Press Month – Please consider including the attached pdf of the flyer promoting subscriptions to the paper to accompany your email bulletin or to place on your website. Remember that subscriptions help subsidize your Communications Ministry which is being utilized now more than ever!
Additionally, we have created a Flocknote in the Library which you can copy and send to your parishioners that also gives them the option to subscribe online – we will apply those subscriptions to your Communications Ministry Assessment.
Note to parish staff: Please email Judy Curini directly at circulation@catholicfreepress.org and she will respond with the current list of subscribers we have for your parish so you can update it to reflect deaths, moves or new families. (Thank you to the more than 50 parishes which have already responded!)
