Opportunities for growth during Lent
In addition to our regular Friday confessions from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we will also have confessions on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We will also pray bilingual stations of the cross on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. However, the parish consecration to St. Joseph will take place during a special 7:00 p.m. Mass on Friday, March 19, so there will be no stations of the cross that day. A special bilingual Stations of the Cross booklet with reflections for our parish during this 75th anniversary year will be available this weekend in the vestibule. We are asking for a $1 donation to cover our printing costs. With this booklet, you can meditate on the reflections either at home or in church. (This event is bilingual.)
The Men's Conference is Tomorrow!
Thank you to everyone who has registered for the Catholic Men's Conference. We have a great group signed up! As a reminder, the event will take place on Saturday, February 27, starting with Mass at 8:30 a.m. and ending around noon. Questions? Please contact Drew Snyder at
dsnyder.ctk@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you then!
Do you have pictures of activities at Christ the King?
Share your photos as we celebrate our parish’s 75th anniversary. Please send in your pictures by February 28 for the March Gallery, featuring Lent and parish service organizations. Suggestions include Living Stations of the Cross, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Knights of Columbus, Women’s Club, Bishop Griffin Resource Center, choirs (present and past), Family Life Committee, Parish Festivals, Bingo, Pre-Cana program, and our religious sisters. Pictures placed in a box in the vestibule will be returned. Pictures can also be submitted digitally to Jessica Ayala at j_ayala_1@yahoo.com or Jatnna Garcia at Jatnna.garcia.r@gmail.com.
