When the schedule for Religious Education came out last summer, we had no certain idea of how long the pandemic would last nor what the implications would be. We certainly hoped that by now we would have exclusively in-person classes for Religious Education. That is typically the way that we run the RE program from the end of March into May.
As it stands, we will continue to have our family-based model through the end of the year, with the option of small groups of students gathering for in person classes on select days.
The biggest impact this has for parents is that there will be one final Parent Meeting on Sunday, March 21, 2020 at noon. This meeting will be recorded for you to watch after the fact if necessary, although I always encourage in-person attendance as the interaction with other parents is a strong part of the meeting.
There will be in-person options for students to attend on March 14, April 11, and April 25. More information about these sessions will be announced on Sunday during the parent meeting.
