Who’d Be Against Equality?
The "Equality Act" has passed the House and will soon be voted on in the U.S. Senate.
From the U.S. Catholic Bishops: “The Equality Act discriminates against people of faith, threatens unborn life, and undermines the common good.” Furthermore, it “forces faith-based charities that serve all peoples to violate their religious beliefs…”

- Mandates government-funded abortion, negating the Hyde Amendment
- Gives no protections to health-care workers who object to performing abortions or gender-change surgeries, negating Religious Freedom Restoration Act
- Allows men in women’s bathrooms, women’s sports, women’s prisons…
- Affects employment in religious schools https://catholicvote.org/
