Good afternoon to all of my parish families and friends,
I hope that all of you are enjoying the spring like weather that God has blessed us with these past few days. Most of all, I hope that you are enjoying the Lenten Reflections by Bishop Barron's "Word on Fire" flock-notes. I find them to be very spiritual and engaging.
A few updates on Fr. David. He is currently in Nigeria and awaiting an interview with the U.S. Embassy so that his visa may be stamped. Once stamped he will immediately return to the U.S. His grandmother, Martha, just passed and he will celebrate the Mass for her funeral. Please pray for her and the entire Didam Family.
Deacon Ray and Deacon Keith are doing an awesome job in the parish and we are grateful to have them! Please view our website and bulletins for all the Lenten prayer services (holy hour, stations, etc.) that are happening in the parish.
Many thanks to Barbara Totman and Maggie Burud for all the hard work that they are doing concerning faith formation and RCIA! A big thank you to Barbara Yannette and her helpers who keep our parish church and grounds beautiful!
Dave Whelly is doing a great job with taking care of the maintenance and daily operations of the parish center/school and church grounds. Dave spearheaded the complete renovation of the school kitchen! Our Holy Name Society and Our Lady's Guild, our counters, and our ushers are continuing the great work that they always do!
Lastly, hats off to a wonderful parish rectory/church staff, who keep us well informed and up to date on the parish happenings, events, and day to day operations.
I will update us later this week concerning the Cardinal's Appeal, Holy Week happenings, and We-Share (online giving). Please continue the great support that you give out of love to our parish.
Please stay safe and remember that you are in my prayers every day!
God bless...Fr. Pat
