Irish Athletics Update
As fall sports seasons come to an end this week, our teams are recognizing our seniors at our final games!
- Friday, March 12: Football
- DeSales vs. Lyle, 6:00 PM (Senior recognition starting at 5:50 PM). Please advise that health screenings will be done prior to entry, masks must be worn, and there is a 200 person limit for our outdoor events.
- Saturday, March 13: Volleyball
- DeSales vs. Prescott, JV at 2:00 PM and Varsity at 3:15 PM (Senior Recognition prior to Varsity game). Please advise that fans must be on the list to attend this event and masks must be worn.
Spring sports start on Monday! An updated physical and the spring sport packet must be on file in the DeSales office in order to be eligible to start practice.

Family Ambassador!
Current WWCS families: We invite you to help us welcome new families by becoming a Family Ambassador! This means that you would serve as a friendly contact who can answer questions, help new families get oriented, and to make them feel welcome in our community. Volunteers Needed for
Pasta Orders Assembly!
A big thank you to everyone for supporting the WWCS Booster Club Fazzari’s Frozen Pastas and Meatball Sale! You sold and/or purchased more than 1000 delicious pasta meals and several thousand mouthwatering meatballs to support DeSales and Assumption athletics and activities!
Now we need your help with the next step of preparing these pastas and meatballs to be ready to pick-up by Thursday, March 25!
We’re looking for 20 or so brave souls to join the WWCS Booster Club and our student-athlete crew, led by our fearless leaders Rod & Kimberly Fazzari and their family, as we roll-up our sleeves to create these amazing foods! No experience necessary – mostly single task assignments!

HOPE 2021: Together We Have HOPE
For our HOPE auction this year, please consider donating an item, an experience, a gift certificate, or a themed basket to the auction!

- Purchase a SCRIP gift certificate in either school office to go towards an auction item. This is the easiest way to donate!
- Donate an item, experience, or trip: coordinate with the HOPE Auction Team to create a unique package!
- Sponsor an Auction package: contact our Auction Team to donate money towards a custom auction basket!
To make a donation for HOPE 2021, you can pick up a donation form at Assumption or DeSales, or you can enter your donation online, or you can contact Rosalie Lesko (509-520-2889), Lexi Pryor or Kristin Basel. Donations should be received by March 29th.

Novena Continues on Sunday
March 14, St. Patrick Church, 5:00 p.m.
Join our Tri-Parish community for a Novena in honor of the Year of the Eucharist! This Novena is being prayed not for nine consecutive days, but instead for nine consecutive Sundays. The Novena began on Sunday, January 31, and will continue until the final Sunday on March 28. We hope to see you there!

The weekly Holy Hour will continue for all students, families, faculty, and staff, hosted by WWCS on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m., at Assumption Church. All of the community are welcome to join us!

The DeSales Catholic School office is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
