Hello, Faith-Filled Families!
I hope you are well and enjoying the hints of Spring weather to come!
As we get close to the end of Lent it's a good time to look at our Lenten plans and recommit ourselves to transforming into the best we can be with God's help!
In this week's Gospel, Jesus tells how a grain of wheat must die in order to fulfill its purpose. He was, of course, speaking of Himself, but also giving a hint that a new life was and is coming! You will be planting seeds for this lesson so you will need plastic cups (or pots, or old coffee mugs), potting soil, and some seeds. For the teaching, it is good to have a variety of seeds, such as apple seeds, sunflower seeds, beans, that you can find in your food. For planting, dry beans work well and sprout quickly, or you may want to buy some seeds, since those in your food may take much longer to sprout.
I have just planted seeds in small containers and am awaiting their sprouts. It gives me hope that new things are happening! God is working through all of our triumphs and struggles!
We have only two lessons left after this one: April 18 and 25! Let's make them count!
I hope you enjoy the lesson!
Happy planting and God bless!
