I meant to send this last weekend, but kept forgetting.

I spoke with Habitat on Saturday, 3/13, to see when we'd start building and found something everyone can help with.

Our next build location will likely be in Princeton or Prosper, but both communities keep changing the code level a Habitat house needs to achieve in order to be approved.  This is largely due to the hot housing market making affordable housing more out of reach, so they want to keep updating the requirements: larger square footage, nicer exteriors (like brick over siding), etc.

Please pray that all of the cities in Collin County will remember that everyone wanting to live here is not wealthy, that they will quickly settle on their minimal requirements, and that Habitat for Humanity in Collin County will have the financial resources to keep housing payments within 30% of a families income.
