Mustard Seed
Friday May 7th
Volunteers Needed to Provide 80 Hot Meals
St. Luke’s is serving at the Mustard Seed on Friday, May 7th. We have been asked to bring 80 hot meals. We are so grateful for the overwhelming support of parishioners in months past. We are asking for volunteers to provide FOUR (4) complete dinners. (Sign up below.)
We ask that volunteers make 4 dinners, each meal consisting of:
- A piece of baked boneless chicken breast (Shake-n-bake or any type of baked chicken),
- Rice pilaf,
- A hot vegetable (any kind,) and
- A roll.
- Please put the dinner in a disposable container.
- Dessert is optional but needs to be labeled and wrapped separately.

PASTORAL COUNCIL
What is the Pastoral Council?
The Council is made up of parishioners whose purpose is to investigate pastoral matters, consider them thoroughly, and propose practical conclusions about them to our Pastor.
What is the commitment?
The meetings are monthly on a Monday night. We are currently meeting via Zoom.
The first meeting for new members will be in September. Terms are for three years.
What are the qualifications for membership?
- Baptized and confirmed Roman Catholics in good standing with the Church;
- Registered and supporting member of the parish;
- Participant in parish life;
- In possession of an understanding of and commitment to the Church in accord with the principles of Vatican II;
- Committed to prayer, study, listening, and dialogue;
- Committed to giving the time needed for participation; and
- Noted for faith, good morals, and prudence.
To indicate your interest in serving on the Pastoral Council:

RELIGOUS EDUCATION BOARD
The Religious Ed Board is made up of parishioners whose purpose it is to provide direction and stability for the Religious Education Programs. Members help promote mutual assistance between parents and the Religious Education Program, Faith Formation, and Youth Ministry Programs.
The Board also provides a point of contact for parents' feedback and suggestions regarding the many programs offered at St. Luke’s. The Board meets meets at 7PM on the first Tuesday of the month.

FAITH FORMATION
Seeking Teachers for Grades K - 6
● Do you have a love for sharing our beautiful Catholic faith?
● Would you be willing to share your faith with children of St. Luke Parish?
● If so, please consider teaching a Faith Formation class.
We provide training, materials, and support!
Your creativity in presenting the curriculum topics is a plus!
