Happy Easter! We pray you are enjoying this Day of the Resurrection with your family and loved ones. As promised, we have an Easter gift to share with you. We're happy to announce that
beginning tomorrow, Easter Monday, April 5, our Adoration Chapel will reopen! We used the time of closure during the pandemic to make some enhancements to the chapel, and the accompanying video gives you a sneak preview into some of those changes. There is new flooring and improved lighting, and we're starting out with just eight socially distanced seats. But while much of it is the same, we've made one change that will help keep the Blessed Sacrament secure and allow us to repose it when there is no one present. We hope it will bring peace of mind and the presence of the Lord to all who enter.
See the video for all the details, and then plan to join us at any time beginning Easter Monday after the 9 a.m. Mass when we will return the Blessed Sacrament to the Adoration Chapel. It will then be open and available to all 24 hours a day. Whether you come for a Holy Hour or just a few minutes, it is open to all who seek to be in the presence of the Lord in the most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.
Alleluia! Alleluia! For those of you who are part of our Perpetual Adoration ministry, be on the lookout for a separate message from Anthony Brown, our ministry coordinator. More information will be available later in the week on our website at www.ctrcc.com/adoration.
