Dear Friend,
Happy Easter!
May the joy of Christ's Resurrection reign ever in your heart! It is good to feel the sense of hope that comes with signing "Alleluia" in church and feeling the warmth of the sun as the season change. Flowers are coming out and it feels good to be alive!
But, even as more people are vaccinated and we feel the increased ability to celebrate, it is important that everyone look out for each other by continued vigilance of pandemic safety protocols. We are reminded that the Lake View neighborhood saw one of the largest increases in COVID infections in the city of Chicago last week. It is an act of charity aimed at the benefit of others to continue to wear a mask, limit in-person interactions, keep social distance, and to wash your hands. Let us keep helping each other out and we'll get through this!
If you missed in-person Mass at Saint Andrew this past Sunday, know that our limitations on attendance were created out a spirit of keeping everyone safe. Also know that Easter isn't over! We'd love to welcome you into the church during the Easter Season which continues for the next 7 weeks! You didn't miss the Resurrection. It is relived in the church every Sunday!
