Cemetery Guidelines during Mowing Season During mowing season flowers can only be in vases on the side next to the stone; on the head stone or over the head stone. There cannot be any planting of flowers or shrubs in the cemetery. Also, no glass containers or ornaments on the ground; only on the head stone and attached securely. We will have no choice but to remove the above items if the guidelines are not followed. Thank you.
Outreach
The Food Pantry. The food pantry will be open on Saturday, April 17, from 10:00 until 11:30.
Our Daily Bread. Our next distribution of casserole pans will be held on May 8 and 9 at the Masses.

There are 110 crosses representing 110 unborn persons killed every hour of every day of the year in the United States. According to the Guttmacher Institute (Guttmacher.org), there were over 862,000 abortions in 2017 (most recent report). As we celebrate our Risen Lord and contemplate Jesus’ sacrifice for us,
remember all these little ones so precious to him and pray that God’s plan for creation is once again respected and followed.

The baby can now roll over inside the womb. Her oil and sweat glands are functioning. A white filmy layer called
vernix covers the baby and protects her delicate skin from the surrounding amniotic fluid. This waxy substance will be quickly absorbed into her skin soon
after she is born. She can now respond to sound. Her lungs are fairly well developed and she would stand a good chance of survival if born at this time. Continue to pray for your personal Little One!

Each week, we pray for a group of elected officials without including titles, states or party affiliation, so we remember they are our brothers and sisters, children of God, sinners like us. Add also your local and state representatives. Pray they will submit to God’s holy will.

FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Program - On March 24, FEMA released the interim policy guidance on the COVID-19 Funeral Assistance program. It will be a reimbursement program for eligible funeral expenses for deaths related to COVID-19 that occurred after January 20, 2020.
