Our new men's ministry is off to a great start
Our next monthly men's event will take place on Saturday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King. We’ll start with Mass in the church followed by refreshments and an engaging video presentation. All men are encouraged to attend. (This event is bilingual.)
Women's Bookclub
The Women’s Book Club will be starting a new book, Searching For and Maintaining Peace, by Father Jacques Phillips. Meetings will be held over Zoom at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning April 14. If you are interested in growing in faith and fellowship with other women and would like to join this discussion, please email Terry Cahalan at tecahalan@gmail.com. (This event is in English.)
We have a new young adult Bible Study starting up!
Recent studies show that a majority of young adults stop practicing their faith by the time they leave college.
If you or someone you know has been away from the church or is looking to explore questions about life and faith in a casual and welcoming environment, we invite you to join us for a new five week Bible study starting on Tuesday April 13th at 7pm. There's no requirement to be a parishioner of Christ the King or even be Catholic to attend. If you are interested in attending you can sign up
here or if have questions, please contact Drew Snyder at
dsnyder.ctk@gmail.com.
Do you still have your Lenten Rice Bowls?
There is a box in the vestibule where you can drop them off after Mass. You can also bring your Rice Bowl to the parish office. Please turn in your Rice Bowl by Sunday, April 11. Thank you for generously supporting the work of Catholic Relief Services.
