We've Hired Paola!
Welcome to our newest team member, Paola Bustos...soon to be Paola Wolaver!
Paola was born in San Cristobal, Venezuela, raised in Miami, FL, and moved to Knoxville, TN in 2018 to pursue graduate school. As a student and active member in SJXXIII’s UT Young Adult group, Paola began to feel a deep call to serve the Church and give back to the young adult ministry. By the grace of God, Paola was able to fulfill her call and will be starting as the full-time diocesan Young Adult Ministry Coordinator on May 1st. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Paola is eager to serve the diverse Diocese of Knoxville community and accompany young adults on their faith journey.

Serving on DYMAC they will…
- Represent their parish and deanery to the Diocesan Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Pastoral Juvenil Ministry
- Plan, help lead, and evaluate diocesan activities and events
- Communicate with other teens and Coordinators of Youth Ministry about diocesan or deanery events
- Grow in leadership skills, team work, and faith formation
