WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
The church throughout the world will observe the 58th annual World Day of Prayer for Vocations on April 25, also known as "Good Shepherd Sunday." The purpose of this day is to publicly fulfill the Lord's instruction to, "Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest" (Lk 10:2). Please pray that young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord's call to the priesthood or religious life. DÍA MUNDIAL DE ORACIÓN POR LAS VOCACIONES
La iglesia de todo el mundo celebrará la 58ª Jornada Mundial de Oración por las Vocaciones el 25 de abril, también conocida como "Domingo del Buen Pastor". El propósito de este día es cumplir públicamente la instrucción del Señor de "Orar al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies" (Lc 10: 2). Ore para que los hombres y mujeres jóvenes escuchen y respondan generosamente al llamado del Señor al sacerdocio o la vida religiosa. Special Collection: Seminarians and Priest Education and Formation
The Seminarians and Priest Education and Formation Special Collection will be taken up in our parishes on Good Shepherd Sunday (celebrated April 24-25). The cost of forming one seminarian is about $55,000 per year. Financial reasons should never prevent men from responding to God’s call to the priesthood. Your contribution to this special collection ensures that our future priests will have excellent formation. May God bless your generosity and may we all continue to pray for our seminarians.

La Colecta Especial de Educación y Formación de Seminaristas y Sacerdotes se llevará a cabo en nuestras parroquias el Domingo del Buen Pastor (que se celebra del 24 al 25 de abril). El costo de formar un seminarista es de aproximadamente $ 55,000 por año. Las razones económicas nunca deben impedir que los hombres respondan al llamado de Dios al sacerdocio.
